Ready to elevate your Instagram game, avoid social media burnout, watch your follower count soar and your engagement skyrocket?

Well, I’m going to share with you some of the best ways to stay on top of your Instagram game so that you can focus on increasing your productivity and reach your potential clients now.

There are four ways you can do this.

Repurposing your content.

Let’s talk about using some of your old content. This is where you’re going to grab some of your best performing content or simply grab other content that you thought was helpful/valuable so you can reuse it and share it in a different way.

Here’s what I mean by that…

This could be turning a Facebook live into a long form post. Or turning that long form post into a short form post for Instagram or grabbing a clip of that Facebook post to create a short Reel/Youtube video. Or grab the short Reel to add to your stories.

As you can see you can do so much just from one Facebook live.

Did I forget you can also turn that Facebook live into a Podcast? Yep. You sure can. You just need to grab the audio and cut a few loose ends to make it work.

This is exactly what I’m able to do for most of my clients. We focus on grabbing key highlights of some of their videos and turn the most important parts into short versions for Reels or stories or even TikToks.

Talk about a super easy process that can bring you endless amounts of ideas in no time. Phew! What a time saver right?

Schedule time to engage.

Now this is a time saver especially if you want to improve your Instagram game. If you didn’t know you could set a timer and engage with potential clients… then you are missing out big time.

Your clients are out there and instead of just scrolling on social media you can actually spend between 15-30 minutes a day engaging.

You either spend 15 minutes before you post or after you post. OR do both the same day.

Another way you can engage is by creating a list of people you want to engage with and add their profile link to a spreadsheet. So if you were able to engage with 15 accounts a day for 30 days, then you can simply click the link on your spreadsheet and be taken directly to their posts to engage with them using your desktop or laptop. This will absolutely maximize your time and help you connect with people a lot faster! Pretty sweet eh?

Use content schedulers and other apps to maximize your time.

There are systems you can use to automate your business and improve your Instagram game. And this is the beauty of the online space… There are so many great tools to use so you can run a successful business from the comfort of your home. How amazing is that?

Some of my favorite tools are Planoly. This is a great way to visualize your content feed ahead of time so that it’s all organized and cohesive. They provide lots of resources and you’re able to schedule Reels now! So cool!

Another tool I highly recommend is Dropbox. I ask all of my clients to add their selfies, new photoshoots to a folder in Dropbox so that when I’m on my phone I can easily access it and download it to my phone to maintain the high quality and add it directly to my scheduler through the app. Yep, it’s that easy.

The next app I use is Canva. If you haven’t heard of it… This is like heaven on earth. (Kidding but not kidding) This app is my GO-TO when it comes to creating beautiful templates. I literally spend most of my time here because of the many resources, fonts, designs, stock photos, stock videos, and hundreds of other features they provide to make design super easy for everyone.

You can create a free account or a paid one. Both are great options but if you are a social media manager, virtual assistant, or you just want more access to many other features that come with the paid version, then I highly recommend you get it. I normally get it because I work with many clients and they each have their own branding fonts so I’m able to upload as many fonts as I want in order to keep things consistent for them and Canva allows me to do this very easily (which is why I’m in so much love with this app).

The next feature is the Facebook scheduler/Instagram scheduler. I like this one because I can get my content ahead of time and schedule things for an entire month. I’m able to add photos and videos which is great. And I don’t have to worry about the length of my content either for Facebook. Instagram you still have a limit on how much you can write so it’s best to keep your captions a bit shorter there.

Either way, you can still schedule your content to go out at the same time in both places or schedule them at a different time.

In Summary.

Overall a great feature from Facebook alone can help you keep things more organized within the platform.

You now know the best ways to stay on top of your Instagram game so you can focus on creating more impact and delivering to your clients in the most potent way possible. Because that’s what you were meant to do anyway.
