This can save you time and money seriously!
I’ve been searching for ways to grow my following and I’ve found some unique tricks to create a good follow. I’m trying out a few to check which ones will ultimately help me from pulling my hair out. I mean seriously!
Blogging can consume most of your time and sometimes I ask myself, “Is this really worth it?” We all know that success doesn’t come immediately, so in this case, it’s worth everything. Plus, if you put DAILY disciplines to update your blog daily, it’ll stay on top of google’s search optimization engines. And off the record, this is something totally new to me.
So, what can you do to save yourself a headache?
Determine you Core Audience.
This should be one of the first things you should do before you think about doing anything else. Find out who your audience is. Ask questions like, “What could my audience struggle with?, What are they interested in? How can I benefit them?”.
Asking questions can help you brainstorm and can help you along the way. Be honest and always think in terms of your audience. Always put yourself in their shoes so your content resonates with them.
For example, I was reading a blog post on someone else and she was explaining how when she first started she wrote a post about a DYI desk project. Now, let me tell you the desk was cute but it meant nothing, it was plain and simply boring. Her blog was about photography and she was posting about interior decorating projects. She had great content, but it wasn’t related to her niche. And most people follow you for specific reasons. So, don’t turn them off.
Launch an Offering.
Using this strategy can be rewarding. Whatever you offer to bring some followers can create a buzz. Sharing sneak peeks and doing a countdown can be an ideal strategy to getting more people excited about your service, product or feature and can boost your audiences’ interest.
Let’s say that your offering had to do with jewelry. A great way to launch is you could create an image featuring your piece of jewelry that’s totally captivating and then sharing it on all of your social media. This way you know you’ll have people wanting to see what you’ve got going on and be willing to find out more.
Revamp your Site.
You can always change the look of your site. People love looking at pretty and colorful things. Most of them are just like you and me, Visual. So when it comes to your blog, they are going to judge it based on they way it looks and what colors you use.
In general, blogs that use warm colors such as reds, oranges, and browns that have a bright/fresh feel to it are definitely going to get a good following. Avoid using colors that are cooler and darker since these tend to be seen less.
The font is also important and a good text overlay can surely make an impact. It should be clear and readable. Don’t use script style fonts because it’s hard for most people to read.
Also, compelling wording can bring people to your site. Such as,
- Creative entrepreneurs, Moms, introverts, etc
- How -to’s, guides, tutorials, step by step
- 10 ways, 4 tips, 30 uses
For example, let me use this : “25 ways to be more Proactive”. Some of these tips can totally help you save time. Try it out for yourself.
Organize.
So many times I have failed to do this, but my goodness this can so efficient when it comes to bringing more traffic to your website and probably one of the most important ones.
Keep a calendar and mark out what days you’ll be posting. The majority, when they first start to do it once a week. But if you really want to bring in some traffic start posting twice a week. You can set two days out of the week and post Monday’s and Friday’s. This way you can keep yourself accountable and give yourself some time to brainstorm on your next topic. See! This can be a life saver. I just started doing it and gosh it does make a big difference. I pinky promise.
So there you go! These are some good blog tips to save you time and money. I hope this helps you and always, best of luck to ya. Also, don’t forget I have my FREE guide on how to get more Profits on Instagram and any other social media.
