Starting your morning doesn’t mean you need to wake up and grab the phone. No, it requires you to prepare the mind. Let me show you 4 Morning Rituals Successful Entrepreneurs need.
How do you start?
One excellent way to wake up is being grateful. You can write down in your journal about the things you’re completely grateful for or you can say them out loud. Just make sure you don’t wake up your neighbor next door or you could, however, if you’re in a really good mood I say the heck with it.
Give yourself a good stretch
You have enough time to get a good stretch once you wake up. You can do some yoga poses or just do the normal stretch pose that you know. One of my favorite ones is the forward bend, can I tell you how amazing I feel after I do this?
What this pose does, it calms your brain and reliefs stress, stimulates the liver and kidneys and it also improves digestion. How amazing right?
The point of stretching is: so your body can feel energize throughout the day.
A good shot of water
The second thing you should do in the morning is to drink a cup full of water. You could add apple cider vinegar, lemon, cinnamon, or honey. I usually add all the above.
The great thing about apple cider is that it helps promote healthy blood sugar, improves nutrient absorption, and many other benefits that come along with it.
Lemon also helps with digestion and helps with bloating big-time. If you’re having any type of indigestion, you have to drink lemon on an empty stomach.
I like to keep a glass full next to me when I wake up that way I’m starting the day off right and not feeling dehydrated since I’ve had so many hours without drinking water.
Set your Intentions daily
Normally most will reach out to their phone. But instead, take your time to write about your intentions you have for this day specifically. You could write about how you’re going to speak to your clients, managers, colleagues, family, husband, etc.
Tell yourself what you’re going to expect out of this day. Are you going to sign up a new client? Or are you going to surprise your husband with a little sexy back? Or are you going to take your time creating new things? Are you going to create content for a new launch you have in mind?
Whatever that is, make sure you do it with love and emotion. If you feel like you need to play some music in the background do it. Whatever makes you feel in tune, just do it. That’s the feeling you want to be in, anyway.
Just do whatever makes you happy in the Morning
I don’t know about you but when I play a good beat, my Spanish comes out and I just start cha-cha dancing. I mean who doesn’t want to feel that good in the morning?
Play your favorite song or listen to a good audiobook. Whether is writing, talking, or dancing. Let that emotion come out and just be you for a minute or two. What a better way to get out of the house than to feel good and not rushed or annoyed? Take your time and take it easy.

Great ways to start the day Jocelyne! I’ve started making lists with priorities of the things I need to get done, next I plan to start doing a short meditation each morning as often I feel overwhelmed when I think of all the things that need to be done! I’ve tried this before and it works well, the main issue is just sticking to it 🙂

Love all of these! I really like to do a youtube yoga class in the morning if I have time and don’t oversleep. It sets the tone for the day. I also always grab a glass of water, sometimes with lemon- I will try adding some of the other things you mentioned. xoxo

I think the way you kick off your morning certainly sets the tone for the day – I’ve gotten SO much better with not hitting the snooze button and giving myself enough time in the morning to get ready and not run around like a madwoman!
